Emergency Escape Equipment - K3E

The Helicopter Escape Valve is a radical item of emergency safety equipment.

This image shows the K3E with the mouthpiece still in place. The main body consists of a Pressure Regulator, a Stop Valve-cum-Pressure Relief Valve and a Tactile Contents Indicator.

The Breathing Valve is normally plugged into the Pressure Regulator. Upon removal of the mouthpiece airflow commences, this gives the user a clean first breath.

In view of its small size and weight, and capability for instant provision of air to the user, the K3E Escape Equipment is ideal for Passenger Aircraft, and all Terrestrial Passenger Transport use.
